That was one a rough one for the Kentucky Wildcats. The game started with the South Carolina Gamecocks thwarting a trick play and nearly scoring a defensive touchdown before many fans had even found their seats. The deficit at the end of the first quarter felt much larger in margin than the score reflected. In the first 15 minutes UK managed to botch a trick play, commit multiple false start penalties, have a punt blocked, and miss a field goal.
Thankfully, the Cats regained the services of JJ Weaver who returned from injury and came out of a wild scramble to secure possession of the fumble. Saying that Kentucky was fortunate to go into the break tied was an understatement.

Rodriguez averaged more than yards per game in , and South Carolina is allowing rushing yards per game. Against SEC opponents, the Gamecocks have given up an average rushing yards. Especially if Levis is dealing with an injury, controlling Rodriguez will be the No.
