I was looking for a laptop that I can use for work, travels easy, but can afford me some game time when I am on the road.
I do not do intensive work applications on it just email, excel, general surfing etc. I am not a competitive gamer, so getting that extra millisecond of response time was not a concern but I wanted something that could handle current games and most games that will come out over the next couple of years. I wanted the newest I could get for the cost.
So this was the bench mark of my search. I am ok with that for now. It does have an extra 2. The extra bay is nice because you do not have to reload the OS etc, you can add the drive and increase your storage easily. I did not want flashy lights or gaming brand logos on the cover. I play in a pretty dark room and the low setting was perfect to let me see while not blinding my peripheral vision. It does get warm, but nothing of concern or that would burn to the touch. Running with the turned on and gaming I would get around 2 hours.
What games do I play on it? Basically anything made before you can run at max with no issues. Ill knock on wood, I have not seen bleeding on the edges for darker games, or I might just not be noticing it. This laptop surprisingly good, quiet, light and reasonably powerful.

Monitor is well built arrived in perfect condition. Monitor comes with a few settings off but every tv and monitor is more then likely not set to your specific taste when you first get it anyways. To clarify some confusion on which cable to use. HDMI 2. However for anyone who uses gsync which yes is supported for this monitor certified by nvidia it will not work unless you use the displayport cable.
Meaning on HDMI it will be at p hz but without gsync on. When you use the display port cable it will automatically enable gsync. To verify its on open the nvidia control panel on the left you will see a enable gsync tab. Everything will already by check but you can verify its on. The bezel is a gun metal red and its classy and not to bright. Doesnt distract at all. Monitor tilts but no up and down movement. Just know what your buying before you buy it and you wont be dissapointed like a lot of these other reviews that seem like they didnt do research before buying something.
There is no vesa mount support so if your plan is to use one or in the near future use on it will not work. I can promise any gamers that for the money to value it is well worth it. Anyone who games I can also tell you that if your going from 60hz to hz you will never go back.
Excellent purchase. Highly recommend. I have a mm AIO liquid cooler and it cause my cpu temps to spike well higher then they ever should have with that setting on. Use caution when turning this setting on. Got this to future proof for next gen xbox series x and Devs to start developing higher refresh rates. If anyone had done any type of research on what p hz monitors are compatible with thre xbox, knows its a pain to find one that will run all of the features xbox now supports.
There is limited adjustment as it only had tilt, and no VESA mounting, but that’s not that big of a deal to me, as i wanted performance, and this checks all of my boxes. So far, very pleased with this monitor. Tested it g-sync-compatible with nvidia drivers So far, not a single glitch. G-sync compatibility seems to work perfectly well with this driver, no flickering or tearing at all. Guess buying a monitor that is listed as officially supported by NVidia pays off.

Display is nice and bright, OSD menu is about as easy or difficult as average to navigate, but it’s nice having physical buttons when my old monitor just had touch buttons.
No dead pixels so far, no weird color banding etc. Still looks sexy and sleek.
