I found this app page in my search for answers. But when you click on the “Get App” button, it links to a different page altogether and doesn’t even give you the app. I didn’t even realized there was an app needed! I do bookkeeping for a small business and both personal and business Amex transactions have not connected properly since August Have to agree with the other not so great reviews; there isn’t a connection between QBO and Amex yet.
During one of the numerous connection attempts, a screen flashed that said the software was scheduled for update I believe in May Let’s see what happens next quarter. This app needs work! Cannot get AmEx connected to QB. Have tried over and over and over but it tells me the authorization is in progress. AmEx says nothing is wrong on their end. Guess will have to keep on manually reconciling this. Frustrating because other cards connected easily.
This app is not up to speed yet. Apparently QB and American express have not fully integrated their software. I was told that they plan to have it integrated in the future to where multiple business card holders can use the AMEX business app to upload reciepts etc.
I really hope they can accomplish this as it will save our company very much time and give us a very high incentive to use AMEX and QB. Track Expenses. American Express. American Express 3.
