This Extension release ships in conjunction with Maya LT Service Pack 2. There are no additional fixes included with this Extension release. For a complete list of the new features in Maya LT Extension 1, refer to the topic What’s New in Extension 1 in the online help.
There are no additional known limitations in Maya LT Extension 1. Any known limitations and workarounds for Maya LT are described in the original Maya LT release notes. See link below. The first time you start Maya LT, the Customer Involvement Program dialog box appears.
If you choose to participate in the Customer Involvement Program, Maya LT automatically sends Autodesk information about your system configuration, what features you use most, any problems that you encounter, and other information helpful to the future direction of the product.
We are able to improve the stability of Maya LT largely because of the Customer Error Reports CERs that users of our products submit. On Mac , this installer requires a full product install. Uninstall your existing Maya LT software before installing Extension 1. Maya LT Extension 1 shares the same preferences as Maya LT As a result, some Extension features may not be enabled by default. Maya LT requires a license of its own, you cannot activate it with a Maya license. Without a license, you can activate it in trial mode.
Maya LT can be installed alongside an existing version of Maya. Preferences folders are distinct. Maya LT supports two licensing methods, User license and Stand-Alone license.
