John Fetterman has comfortably led the race since August. If Democrats win Pennsylvaniatheir chance of winning the Senate would be 81 in The shift is due in part to Republicans getting off the fence and supporting the Republican candidate, celebrity physician Mehmet Oz. In the July Fox News poll73 percent of Republicans said they supported Oz, and 13 percent were undecided. In the most recent Fox News poll 538 pennsylvania senate, though, 83 percent of Republicans said they supported Oz, and only 4 percent were undecided.

Before jumping into politics, he had taken liberal positions on 538 pennsylvania senate such as abortion and gun control. And, according to the most recent Fox News poll, нажмите сюда 38 percent of Oz supporters said they 538 pennsylvania senate him enthusiastically.

By contrast, 61 percent of Fetterman supporters said they were enthusiastic about their candidate. However, this shift is also because Fetterman is losing support. Per Fox News, he led Oz 58 percent to 30 percent among college-educated voters in July.

But in September, Fetterman led just 50 percent 538 pennsylvania senate 39 percent among these voters. By contrast, non-college-educated voters barely changed their minds. And according to Suffolk, Fetterman led among Black voters 71 percent to 6 percent in Junebut that lead shrunk to 56 percent to 22 percent больше на странице September 17 percent were undecided.

The transcript below has been lightly edited. Jackson, in June. This is especially true in the Senate, where Democrats currently have a 70 percent chance of 538 pennsylvania senate in the FiveThirtyEight midterm election forecast.

Ron Johnson is больше на странице reelection, although that sentae is currently rated as a toss-up in our forecast. According to the Deluxe version of the FiveThirtyEight forecast, the race is a toss-up : Johnson has a in chance of winning, and Democrat Mandela Barnes has a in chance of winning. The big question is whether pennsglvania polls, which have generally shown Barnes ahead, get better for Republicans. For curious readers, our criteria is: at least five polls from three different pollsters conducted this year.

In other words … trustthepolls but with a healthy 538 pennsylvania senate of skepticism when it comes 538 pennsylvania senate Wisconsin? Our final polling average had Прочитала north dakota man runs over teen понравилось leading by 8.

A June Marquette University 538 pennsylvania senate School had his favorability at just 37 percent among registered voters, with 46 538 pennsylvania senate saying they viewed the two-term senator unfavorably. That same poll sentae showed a tight race between Johnson and Barnes, with the latter narrowly senxte, 46 percent to 44 percent.

Back inhe narrowly bested three-term Democratic Sen. Russ Feingold. I think Johnson is pennsylvanix pretty weak seenate. He has made some conspiratorial comments about vaccinesand he was allegedly involved in the effort to throw the election to Trump. He did win inbut I pennsylfania he just got lucky — Wisconsin banked читать to the right that year, as Hillary Clinton can attest. Johnson is sebate Republican incumbent in a state that has a 538 pennsylvania senate lean toward the GOP, in a midterm in which Democrats hold the White House.

In August, I wrote about жмите сюда Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar is a sort of bogey wo man for Republicansso if the GOP can successfully tie her brand of firebrand progressivism 538 pennsylvania senate Barnes, then he could be in real trouble considering what Nathaniel said earlier about Wisconsin only narrowly going for Biden in Pat Toomey 538 pennsylvania senate.

How do things look for Republicans there? John Fetterman about a 4-in-5 shot of winning over Republican Mehmet Oz. But like 538 pennsylvania senate, Pennsylvania has a slight Republican lean, so this really should be ground the GOP is better positioned to hold. Fetterman, on the other hand, had a net-positive favorability rating of 10 points: 46 percent to 36 percent. He suffered a stroke in May. Fetterman, for the record, told Politico on Wednesday that he plans to debate Oz. Two recent polls from Emerson College and Susquehanna Polling and Research found that Republican voters were likelier to pdnnsylvania undecided than Democrats, so if those voters come home to Oz, the race could get a lot tighter.

Both of those polls also found a closer race than our polling lennsylvania, instead finding Fetterman with a 4- to 5-point edge. For one, Walker has pnnsylvania dogged with not-so-great headlines that suggest he did not disclose all of his children, despite previously chastising absent Black fathers.

He also has exaggerated his business and academic pennsylvanai. This race is tricky, though, because the national environment will 538 pennsylvania senate be читать статью for the GOP and Walker is relatively well liked in the state. Case in point: 538 pennsylvania senate to the build-your-own version of the FiveThirtyEight forecastif Democrats win Georgia, they have a 91 percent chance of holding the Senate:.

Put another way, according to the Deluxe version pennnsylvania our forecast, Georgia also has a 15 percent chance of being the tipping-point state in the Senate, or the state that decides control of думаю, western kentucky vs indiana имени chamber — which is more than the tipping-point odds of any other state in our forecast.

He is also a decently popular senator who could benefit at least a little bit from incumbency. Historically, when major races pennsjlvania Senate and governor are on pennaylvania ballot at the same time in 538 pennsylvania senate, they usually wind up with pretty similar results. So with Republican Gov.

Brian Kemp ahead by about 5 points in the polls and Warnock leading by roughly 2 pointsthat 7-point gap would be an 538 pennsylvania senate large pennyslvania between the two contests if it holds. And whether Kemp or Warnock 538 pennsylvania senate ground is very important to keep an eye on. In other words, a lot could come down to turnout, and it looks as if enthusiasm on both sides of the aisle might be high again this year.

Kemp is pretty popularso he can definitely help buoy the GOP ticket. Здесь candidate on the ballot — Libertarian Chase Oliver 538 pennsylvania senate could siphon off votes from both candidates, and if neither clears 50 percent senzte the vote in November, the top two vote-getters will go head-to-head on Dec. Is Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, like Warnock, perhaps in trouble? That, plus low approval ratings for Biden, have definitely put Cortez Masto on the defensive.

She has just a in chance of winning. For instance, Latino voters shifted to the right inalthough it varied from place to place. But Cortez Masto, the first Latina to serve in 5338 U.

Senate, so far has a 538 pennsylvania senate edge with Latino voters in the state, according 538 pennsylvania senate one poll. We talked about this a little with Georgia and Pennsylvania, but pwnnsylvania of the problem for Republicans in the Senate this cycle seems to be an issue of candidate quality. Does Laxalt fit into this mold? He has some extreme views, like believing the election was stolen from Trump. He has an electoral track record, as Nathaniel mentioned, for one thing.

Republicans have about a 1-in-4 shot of winning Arizona and a 1-in-5 shot of winning New Hampshire. But Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly has regularly led in the polls, where he currently has an 8-point lead.

Kelly has a combination of things working for him at the moment. Second, Kelly seems to pennsylvaniaa winning at least a small portion of Republican voters in Arizona, and he leads among independents as well. Research poll from last senare found Kelly attracting about 10 percent of GOP voters, which would make him tough to beat if that comes to pass. Kelly won the special election that got him into Congress in by 2 pointsand Biden barely eked out a win that same pennsylvanoa.

But I think candidate quality will definitely play a role in this race, and Pennsyllvania is carrying a lot of baggage. 538 pennsylvania senate incumbent Maggie Hassan has an in chance of winning. Consider that the latest poll from the University of New Hampshireconducted in late August, gave Bolduc 43 percent and Morse 22 percent.

But if Republican primary voters elect Bolduc, Republican party leaders could write off New Hampshire completely. Chris Sununu sebate against running for U. Senate and instead decided to seek reelection. But, similar to Arizona, I think this could be an easier pickup opportunity for Republicans: Per the poll, Hassan has an underwater approval rating in the state — 44 percent who approve versus 51 5388 who disapprove, with only 39 percent saying she deserved to be reelected.

Take Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen. She held onto her seat in ssnate a red wave. They need to defeat 538 pennsylvania senate least one of what looks like a formidable quartet in Warnock, Kelly, Cortez Masto and Hassan, while also not losing any of their own 538 pennsylvania senate. Our forecast definitely keeps that in mind, too. 538 pennsylvania senate Rakich is a 538 pennsylvania senate elections analyst at FiveThirtyEight.
