I am running for re-election to ensure that Teton County has a strong, proven voice representing District During my tenure as your Senator, I have worked across the aisle in Cheyenne and with others throughout Wyoming to fight for the issues that matter to Teton County. Half our state had a fundamental right stolen with the Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health.

I will fight to ensure the privacy protections and freedoms established under Roe v. Wade are enacted in Wyoming. I strongly believe Wyoming needs to expand Medicaid, which would provide insurance for 20, uninsured Wyoming residents, including our most vulnerable populations: children, senior citizens, and veterans. Over the past few years in Cheyenne, I have also worked diligently to improve mental health care. I have voted to increase funding for mental health care, especially for at-risk youth, and have worked to secure more state funding for suicide prevention programs.

I have been working on legislation with my colleagues in Cheyenne to restructure our property tax. We need a global strategy for state school land parcels. These sections must be optimized to generate revenue for Wyoming schools. Understanding the tremendous revenue challenges the state is facing, we must balance school parcel usage while working to keep public lands open and accessible to all.
