Vermont studio center
We welcome writers and artists for residencies in Johnson, Vermont, and host online programs and events. Our mission is to provide studio residencies in an inclusive, international community, honoring creative work as the communication of spirit through form.
Our buildings, many of them historic Vermont landmarks, overlook the Gihon River in the northern Green Mountains. For over three decades, our residency program has offered residents and the general public an opportunity to engage with global creative communities.
We invite Visiting Writers and Artists from around the world to join us during our residencies to mentor residents, present readings, facilitate craft talks, and give lectures that are open to the public. Can You Hear Me? Visiting Artists from all over the world came to Johnson, Vermont to enjoy our community of artists, to give presentations on their work, and to engage in one-on-one studio visits with residents.
While here, many of the Visiting Artists printed one of a kind works of art and generously donated them in support of VSC. Today, the VSC Print Collection houses thousands of prints by over 80 artists in a variety of sizes and subject matter. We are delighted to showcase some of this work in our online shop.
All prints are for sale, come unframed, and shipping within the continental US is included in the print price. Residency Program. Residency FAQ. Make a Payment. Studios at VSC. Virtual VSC.
