Otherwise it was a complete waste of money as I upgraded from an older version. I spent the money to “upgrade” and got nothing. All the new features I read about and wanted only seem to come on the enterprise version that you have to pay a monthly fee for.

No more quickbooks upgrades for me ever again. They won’t add any new features because that cuts out all of side companies that can sell you the integrated add ons for many times over the price of the original quickbooks. Really frustrating! I have been a QuickBooks user for many years. A little over a year ago, I switched over to the online version so I would have access to my accounting software wherever I was.

I liked that convenience but little else. The desktop version is much better. If you need access to your accounting software while you’re on the road, configure some type of remote access into your office so you can access it that way.

Definitely stay with the desktop version if you use it now. Be sure to back up your files duh because they wont be there if you don’t. I made the mistake of not backing one company file up and it was gone, but I did have previous months back up to rebuild. Make sure you are done in QB for the day before installing this new software because you have to register to use it and the Intuit site kept experiencing technical difficulties, so about 8 tries later which was time consuming, it finally allowed the registration.

I previously stated that the disc did not work to install, but was able to download program off Internet and complete registration with license code provided. Which appeared to be true as it completed the registration process and said completed successfully.
