I know that the software is very old, but it was the last version of Lotus which accepted keystrokes, and for that reason I never upgraded further. I have tried to follow the suggestions from others above to no avail. Like everybody else I have a lifetime of programs written in Lotus which I want to keep operational. You may need to try and track down a “newer” lotus version Actually, though Customer really wants it on either Windows 7 Home 64 or on Windows 10 Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.

With a big investment in Lotus over many decades in terms of Lotus files created, macros written and my general fluency in the software, I was very relieved that I still have Lotus as my primary spreadsheet program to this day.
I get the install to start but it wants to do the install on the DVD drive and I cannot change it to another drive. Part of the problem could be my C; is a SSD drive. A subscription to make the most of your time.

Only difference so far in transition from Win7 to Win11 seems to be that graphic OLE objects embedded in Lotus worksheets no longer are displayed properly. Those files are dated late No ISO version of v9. Examined this ISO with hex editor. IBM stopped selling and supporting the product in As you’ve already discovered, the last versions of Lotus are not compatible with Windows This is because the program requires a bit environment to run successfully and most versions of Windows 10, generally speaking, are bit.
The difference between a bit version of Windows and a bit version involves how Windows processes the information found in its RAM—with the bit version being much more efficient in handling RAM-based data and tasks, especially in large chunks.
Given that, the bit environment has become commonplace in computing. If you are intent on keeping Lotus , then one workaround is to install a program that creates a self-contained bit environment within Windows Once set up, you would need to install Lotus within that environment and then copy over any files associated with Lotus into it as well.
After that, you would need to launch this environment, and then Lotus from within it, in order to access Lotus or any piece of information found within your Lotus files.
Instructions for doing using a program called DOSbox can be found in the third posting on the www.
