In reply to A. User’s post on August 4, I am also facing the same issue. I tried method, my account is already having admin rights Method 2 : When I run the command it says “Invalid value for registry”.
Here’s the error : Method 3 : Doesn’t work. I have tried all the methods as well to no avail. The odd thing is that my wife’s account on the same pc works fine. In reply to RobertHinton’s post on August 7, I have also tried all the recommended fixes to open the Store when logged into my Administrator account.
The edition I have is Windows 10 Pro. The other account not administrator on the same computer has no problem opening the Windows 10 Store. Hi, I’ve had the same problem. Shuvo Banerjee. My system is Windows 10 Pro and this started after August 4 after the update. Also, I am only using Windows Defender and no third party antivirus software. I am attempting to open the Microsoft Store, but the window simply flashes open and closes. I’ve followed all of the official support steps, but nothing is helping.
I have also tried other unofficial fixes. The live chat is sending me to the unhelpful support article, and once I finally got a person they were from billing support even though I selected technical support.
I am extremely frustrated with the lack of an easy way to contact a human with actual technical support knowledge. Why can’t I just email support? This seems like a simple issue that can be fixed with a few simple commands or registry edits, but the awful support is making this impossible.
