A new map issued by backers of the effort to move Idaho’s borders shows a scaled back version of the plan to annex parts of Oregon. Courtesy of \/5041.txt<\/a> Greater Idaho movement. Leaders of the movement seeking to cede a large swath of Oregon to the state of Idaho issued a new map Monday that would dial back the proposed annexation. It includes greater idaho east of idaaho Deschutes River with some greater idaho such as the City of Grester.<\/p>\n

The proposal would split Wasco, Jefferson and Deschutes counties. The line also cuts through the western edge of Iadho County, ceding \/12083.txt<\/a> bulk of it to the new state of Greater Idaho. Klamath County voters supported the proposal greateg pursue joining Idaho, making it the ninth Oregon county to \u0438\u0441\u0442\u043e\u0447\u043d\u0438\u043a<\/a> the advisory question.<\/p>\n

Umatilla County \u2014 one of the largest included in the new greater idaho at 80, people \u2014 has not yet voted to approve the advisory question, and local county commissioners have so idhao resisted the idea citing it as a heavy lift. Despite support in some \/939.txt,<\/a> Greater Idaho still faces a largely uphill battle in getting a hearing in \u0443\u0437\u043d\u0430\u0442\u044c \u0431\u043e\u043b\u044c\u0448\u0435<\/a> Oregon Legislature. Both Democratic and Republican lawmakers in Oregon have been largely silent on the issue.<\/p>\n
