Found myself annoyed at this issue earlier today and searched online for a cure or explanation.<\/p>\n

Note that I cannot correlate the issue to images in the body of the email. I’ve tried to replicate the issue using two separate email accounts, on two separate computers, with an without images embedded. The issue could NOT be replicated with all tests but I am certain it is not resolved. Will eagerly await MS fix. Dan I. Hey Noyonima, The images in my signatures display just fine, it’s just causing this god awful cursor lag. Looking forward to the resolution from Microsoft as it’s super distracting when you’re typing. If you have this problem, I would suggest a simple fix until MS comes out with the update patch: 1.<\/p>\n

Create your email using the footer that does not have an image or no footer at all. Send your email. This creates an extra step of selecting the desired footer after composing. This month’s update hasn’t resolved the issue for me. Office Personal In reply to Nathon Jones’s post on March 4, Yes the lagging cursor in outlook is an issue for me as well. As soon as the image is taken out of outlook it types normal again. The lagging cursor imo is a big drawback which slows productivity down. To investigate this issue, I made some tests using Word desktop app on my device. So, I am afraid there are something wrong with your Word desktop app. Given this situation, you may try to copy and paste the content form the ole one to the new one.<\/p>\n

If the issue also happens to the new created document, it means this issue should be related to your Word app. And you may try the following methods:. Please try to open Word in safe mode to troubleshoot whether the issue is caused by some add-ins.<\/p>\n

If you could open Office apps in safe mode, please try to temperately disable all add-ins referring to steps in this article: View, manage, and install add-ins in Office programs – Office Support microsoft. Please perform an Online Repair for Office.<\/p>\n

When I was editing a single Word document the simple document with few lines but on different screens laptop and connected monitor , the problem was present on laptop screen but does not appear when Word App was simply moved to other screens. What is even more puzzling. I have 3 monitors connected to my laptop and Word App was working fine on all three additional screens but it was not working properly on my laptop screen set as main screen.<\/p>\n
