Beginning with Office , all Office products for Windows that are available through Volume Licensing use Click-to-Run technology instead of the traditional Windows Installer technology.<\/p>\n

You’ll need a broadband Internet connection with download speeds of at least 20 Mbps to download Office products. Note that Office products require Windows 10 and will not run on older versions of Windows.<\/p>\n

If you haven’t already, register at the VLSC and accept your software license agreement for the Office products you requested by completing only steps one and two in our VLSC quick-start guide. Download the configuration file that you need from the table below by right-clicking the link for the file you need, selecting Save link as\u2026 , and saving the file to the “OfficeSetup” folder you created.<\/p>\n

Don’t download more than one of these files to that folder at a time. If you need to install more than one type of Office product, you’ll have the opportunity to do so later. Learn how to tell if you need the bit or bit version. Next, follow the instructions below to add the product key that you obtained from the VLSC in step two to the configuration file. If you need additional customization for your deployment and have IT experience, you can use Microsoft’s Office Customization Tool to create your own configuration files.<\/p>\n

Note that all earlier versions of Office will be uninstalled when you install Office products, so be sure to save and quit any Office applications that are running. If you need to customize your installation or need more detailed instructions, you can refer to Microsoft’s Office deployment guide for IT professionals. Do give it a search if you are in an offline environment. Just tried the link and install for the 32 bit version it forced me to do that and Microsoft sent me on a round robin type route and the wanted to ONLY update me to Office It would not let me get by this.<\/p>\n

Any suggestions? Some issue on office. The only problem being now that I will have to mount the iso as a virtual drive or burn to disc, but no big deal. I have installed office successfully, but it is asking product key and showing expires on 6th Aug Please do the needful. You need to activate the Office application. You can buy retail or OEM keys from a variety of online stores.<\/p>\n

Thanks for providing simple solutions. The downloads from Microsoft were painfully slow, taking days for some including multiple restarts and pauses to kickstart downloads that stopped for unknown reason. Now if I can just find reliable activator, most seem to be infested these days. With your help, I have been able to update and revive XP computers and make them available to women who are in difficult life situations and make them more employable with modern office computer skills.<\/p>\n
