Please excuse my English. I am Dutch. Therefore I would recommend either a system restore or restoring a backup image before installing these products the re-installation of the network adapter also worked when uninstalling ESS. I was expecting some support from Eset staff, either here or by answering the support request that I submitted to Customer Care. But nothing Maybe the “That one doesn’t work” wasn’t specific enough. The only thing that tool detected was Malwarebytes.<\/p>\n

On Windows 10, you’ll need to manually disable or remove Epfw Lightweight filter in your LAN properties to restore network connectivity until an updated version of the tool is ready. I am a Mac user. You are not required to purchase an additional license to reinstall your ESET product. Your existing license remains functional for the duration of your subscription regardless of how many times you remove or install the product on the computer to which it is registered.<\/p>\n

Your settings will not be restored automatically when you reinstall ESET. Follow the steps below to back up your network adapter settings and restore them after uninstallation is finished:. We recommend that you record your network settings somewhere so that you can easily reconfigure them after running the uninstaller tool.
